And, those decisions were anything but easy. From the get-go, Britney Spears dreaded this part of her judging job, saying, "It's going to be kind of hard having to be in this situation to tell them no and to make them go home. That's probably the hardest." Demi Lovato was feeling the pain of the cuts as well. "I think it's going to be so difficult to make this final decision. It's not an easy job having to tell somebody that they don't have what it takes to go to the next round," she said.
Think it was as tough for our more seasoned judges, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid? Eh, maybe not so much. L.A. seemed confident that he knew who his one shining star was and admitted that another disappointed him. "I felt that there was one contestant who really left it all on the stage," he said. As for his disappointment, "Yes, there was at least one that was a real disappointment. It had more to do with character than talent," he revealed.
Justin Bieber summed up the decision process best when he said this at the end of his time at L.A.'s home with the Over 25s: "That sucks real bad, man." We're sure the judges couldn't agree more!
Which of the Top 24 do you hope makes it through to the next round? Did your favorite thus far do their best to get picked? Who left it all on the stage and who could've done more?
Find out how our judges, Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears, and Demi Lovato, whittled down 24 talents to the chosen 16 on THE X FACTOR's final Judges' Home show this WEDNESDAY at 8/7c on FOX.
