With declarations of crushes on judges, friendly accusations of crushes on each other, and a whole lot of TMI, one thing is for sure -- the new and improved Pepsi PreShow Live has a certain chemistry we have not seen before.

New hosts Adrienne Bailon and Jesse Giddings and returning digital correspondent Jim Cantiello met for the first time at a swanky sushi restaurant in L.A. to break the ice before their first show together and we got the download on their first impressions of each other and more.

Okay, first impressions of each other! Go!
Jesse: Adrienne has a great personality and is definitely passionate. She's encouraging. She gets it. I think her role is the insight and her personality. Jim's very cool, very calm, and very collected and he gets to have a lot of fun on the show backstage.
Jim: Well, Adrienne and I go way back. We were makeup chair buddies at MTV. We just hit it off. She's hilarious. And just speaks her mind at all times. I don't want to say that it's TMI, but she's definitely a sharer. And, Jesse, you know, I was so stressed out getting to dinner because I was afraid I was going to be late, so I showed up disgusting and sweaty and in walks this underwear model, and I'm like great, he probably thought I was this sweaty troll!
Adrienne: Oh my God! You absolutely did not! You are always cool. And, Jesse, well first, he's a 6' 3" underwear model and I'm like, I'm barely 5 feet and I'm gonna need an apple box to stand next to this man! And, second, he's absolutely gorgeous. I asked for a ride home at the end of the dinner and he was a total gentleman and drove me home.

So, how was the chemistry between our new hosts?
Jim: They're a little flirty, I'm not gonna lie. They definitely had chemistry in a host way. It was evident seeing them at (the) table together. I thought, 'This is gonna be great.'
Jesse: It's like a first date. You hope the person likes you and you hit it off. I just thought we better click and I'm happy that we did click.
Adrienne: It definitely was awkward, the ride home, it was like, well, okay, I guess we'll be together every day from now on. It was like an arranged marriage! But, we did get along great. He's super chill and he's really, really funny.

You're all into social media, so tell us who is the oddest person you follow or that follows you.
Jim (@jambajim): Sally Jesse Raphael follows me. Oh and Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl. I have no idea why she follows me. I've never met her. She's never tweeted me. She doesn't even follow a lot of people, so it's even stranger. I follow a lot of animals. I'm obsessed with Maru, the Japanese cat that jumps in boxes. I have Maru on text alerts so I know when his blog is updated. Would love to get him on the PreShow, but he's in Japan. And, I follow Taylor Swift. Yes, I'm a diehard Taylor Swift fan.
Jesse (@jessegiddings): I follow 15,000 people. If someone asks me to follow them, I'll follow them.
Adrienne (@Adrienne_bailon): Over this weekend, I started following Sandy the Storm because I'm from New York and Ted the Bear from the movie. He says the most ridiculous things you'll ever hear in life.

Jesse, our female fans will want to know if you'll do a Pinterest page with your hunky model photos.
Jesse: I don't have one, but if you Google my name there will be some awkward underwear photos somewhere.
Jim: That's amazing.
Adrienne: Don't Google image me at all! There's wardrobe malfunctions. They'll know way too much about me!

Let's break down your fashion for the PreShow.
Jesse: Adrienne's the stylish one. I'm the hipster. Jim's got a bit of a, not quirky, but... he has his own take on it.
Jim: Quirky's good. You might see less bowties from me. I'm gonna go a little more casual this year...T-shirts, cardigans. You know, cover up the arms. You don't want to see pasty hairy arms.
Adrienne: I am in L.A. now so I am bringing lots of color and I'm definitely going to be making fashion statements on set every week. I'm not afraid to try anything. I'm obsessed with nails right now. Right now I have stiletto nails that are really long and pointy and red with glitter. My nails are usually over-the-top.

Who's your favorite judge and why?
Jesse: I think Demi is really great. I maybe have a little Demi crush.
Jim: Simon's my guy. I'm not gonna lie. It's hard to open up my heart to new people.
Adrienne: I do go way back with Demi, but my favorite judge is Simon. If I don't marry Jesse, I'm going to marry Simon! His trailer is right next to mine and I'm on a mission to sneak inside and just move in.
