The rumors are out there. Many names have been tossed around. Secret sources claim to know who is thisclose to inking a deal to stand on that big THE X FACTOR stage in front of four powerhouse judges, millions of viewers, and dozens of hopefuls to serve as host for Season 2.

So, who's it going to be?
Will it be a boy?
Will it be a girl?
Will it be...both?

We'll let Simon Cowell take this one: "I want to work with a boy and girl and I definitely think this is a role for two people," the judge told reporters in Canada this July. "I can't say who it is - but they have narrowed it down to five people."
