"Yeah, we're a little disappointed. I think anybody would be. I think Carly is too," said the group's Lauren Jauregui. "We made it to Top 3. It's just such a big deal that we even made it this far. We're extremely proud of ourselves."
To help ease their pain a bit, we lifted their spirits big time by revealing to them that One Direction's Harry Styles tweeted them on Finale night.
"Shut up! Did he?! What did he say?!" screamed Camila Cabello. His tweet read: "Congratulations to @FifthHarmony tonight!! You were amazing.. You're going to be great. Have a good night .xxx" The group's response? Squeals! "Oh my God! Three Xs?!?!" screamed Camila again.
One Direction aren't the only ones thinking this group can go onto great things. Their mentor Simon Cowell believes wholeheartedly that the show will go on for Fifth Harmony. "Boy bands, girl bands have gotta come within' themselves. They've got to know who they are. And they've [Fifth Harmony] got a confidence about themselves now. They know who they wanna be and I've got a feeling they're going to do really well next year," Simon told us.
