Here's what you won't see on tonight's show: One contestant was so bad that Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and L.A. Reid had to leave. L.A. explained, "Oh my God. It was just horrible. The thing that was bad was he thought that he was going through. He thought the cheers were that he was doing such a great job when the truth is he was horrific and we just couldn't take it anymore. But Simon has a little more tolerance, more patience, than we do. So we all walked and we kinda let Simon handle it by himself."
Demi was equally disturbed. "Yeah, I felt really uncomfortable and I had to walk away," she said. "I was following [Britney]. I was taking her lead. She's like, 'Let's go' and I was like, 'Okay.'" "It was our break anyway. It was dinner," added Britney.
"I was really uncomfortable because I was like oh my gosh, he's on the floor crying because he thinks that he's done such a good job. And, I felt SO bad. I laughed at first, but then I felt really bad," continued Demi.
Even Reid felt bad: "We really do feel for the contestants. We want the best. It's not like we sit there and we want them to be horrible so we can say no. We're actually pretty kind about it and we prefer to say yes, but when they're as horrific as this guy?" "I usually can't look when they're bad," said Britney.
They weren't all that bad, though. Of the Greensboro talent in general, Demi said, "I think that Greensboro has been amazing. The talent here is really spectacular. We've had some really good luck here." Britney agreed: "There have been extremely talented people."
The other drama was Brit's reaction to the night's thunder and lightning storm. "It was a little scary and especially my assistant came up behind me and tapped me on the back after it was thundering and I literally screamed and got up out of my seat. I was a little embarrassed," she said.
