The trio, which consists of brothers Julien "Jewlz" Joseph and Jemelle "Melee" Joseph both from Queens and formerly of their own group ONE4FIVE, and Lyric Da Queen who hails from Flint, MI, never expected to be on THE X FACTOR as a threesome but you won't hear any complaints from them.
"That was a crazy time," says Jewlz. "We were both onstage and it was kind of like, mixed emotions at the time. When we saw that they put us together, we were like 'okay!' This is going to be ONE4FIVE times 10. This is crazy!"
"When they paired us it was divine. It just happened and it fit like a puzzle. It just worked," notes Lyric Da Queen. "They come from Queens, I come from Flint, MI. We got kids that have nobody to look up to, our family is there, people die every day. This is the mission. To show people that you can come from a place like where we come from and do something THIS big!"
Despite vastly different backgrounds, Lyric145 is already oozing with chemistry, swag, and charisma! In addition to serious skills behind the mic, this triple threat is armed with dance moves that are both in sync and off the charts!
Does Lyric145 think they have what it takes to go head on with the others in a competition dominated by singers? "We're different. We're something you've never seen before," proclaims Lyric Da Queen. "We turn you into believers and I think that's what THE X FACTOR is about!"
