And it's not just the fans who are eating it up, but the press as well. Here are a few recent raves for "Don't Fail Me Now," which was produced by noted producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and written by Livvi Franc and is the first cut off her upcoming debut album due later this year via Epic Records.

"LOVE! SO infectious and worth the wait! The Darkchild-produced track definitely documents her journey thus far and is just a taste of what's to come for Melanie! Her as-yet-untitled album is currently in the works, with producers like Tricky Stewart attached to the project! We can't wait to hear what else our songbird has in store!"-Perez Hilton

"With the infectious 'Don't Fail Me Now' and her full-length album in the wings, Amaro is clearly poised for stardom."-Urban Bridgez

"This is exactly the kind of music I wanted Melanie Amaro to release as her first single! Dance-pop with heavy emphasis on the power that is Amaro's voice. As she proved time and time again during her stint on The X-Factor, girl can SANG! "-Music Is My King Size Bed

Both singles hit the net just weeks ago and will be released on iTunes on Sept. 11 - one day before the big Season 2 premiere of THE X FACTOR!

Meanwhile, Amaro is slated to perform Sept. 23 at Webster Hall in New York with more dates and promotional appearances to be announced.
