Arin Ray talks technical malfunction: "The technical difficulties that went on in the beginning really threw me off and I wasn't able to give my best performance that I gave at my rehearsals. When that happened it threw me off where I really couldn't recover from it mentally and emotionally. What the judges said, I paid no mind to. I know what happened and they know what happened."
Beatrice Miller agrees with Simon: Simon Cowell said her performance of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" was boring, and guess what? B agrees. "I haven't liked it all week. I respect Cyndi Lauper, but when you're performing it onstage for all of America to vote for you, it's boring. And Simon was right. If I think it's boring then it's gonna come across as boring, so hearing that it was actually boring, it hurt."
Carly Rose Sonenclar's close encounter with the fan kind: "It felt awesome. It was really fun and it was just like I can't even explain it but that was different for me and all my other performances because before I was singing, the [fans] were screaming, and I was trying to focus. I was so close to the audience. That never happened before. They were so close. I was like, 'Hi.' But it was really fun. I'm happy with it."
CeCe Frey on getting slammed by the judges: "I am to the point where I'm like, what the hell do you guys want from me? I've done everything that you guys seem to want me to do and you still don't like it. So I think now what's important is to remember that it's time for me to just be whoever the hell I want to be. And that's what I'm going to do from here on out."
Emblem3's reveals their work out plans: "We have different styles of workouts. Wes works out the most," said Drew. "I do crossfit training and Keaton does hot pockets training," said Wes. "They're all healthy but I eat hot pockets like every day," admits Keaton.
Fifth Harmony reacts to the Arin Ray/Normani Hamilton package: "I thought it was really, really sweet. He's a really nice person and I'm just really grateful that I met him. It's a friendship. We're close friends. We're like best friends," says Normani.
Diamond White explains her alter ego: "I finally found a name for my alter ego. It's my middle name Karreun. That's also gonna be the name of my clothing line once I get one. She's the boss lady. She tells people what to do and she's on her business. She's a good diva. She doesn't throw tantrums. She's not mean."
Paige Thomas' bejeweled lip mishap: "At lunch break, yes, I did swallow one jewel, but it was really, really tiny. It was like ooh, whoa, that one's gone. We had to reapply the one stone and used a very strong special effects glue. I'm fine."
Tate Stevens on the love of his life: "She's the rock. She really is. I know I'm supposed to be, but she really is. I wear pants, she just tells me which ones to put on. That's how it goes. But it's worked for 15 years, 15 years this December. We're best friends. I can tell her anything, like she's my buddy. That's it. We never go to bed mad. We've been up lot of late nights watching the sun rise, but we don't go to be mad."
Vino Alan's romantic confession: When asked for the second week in row if he was singing that romantic song to anyone in particular, he finally fessed this: "Yeah. There's somebody. We'll see how it works."
