Fifth Harmony: "The theme for this week is giving thanks and we're dedicating our songs to people who have really influenced us and supported us and showed us love. And, this week we're thanking our families and we're dedicating our song to them," says Ally Brooke. "It is a ballad. This week is a sentimental week so we gotta push one more ballad, but hopefully if we stick around we can try something upbeat because we've been dying to do something upbeat," says Lauren Jauregui.
Emblem3: "It's all about inspiration and gratitude. It's a really beautiful piece. It's amazing," says Drew Chadwick. "There are so many people that we have to thanks, so choosing one was hard. We had to do two, Drew is thanking one person and Wes and I another," says Keaton Stromberg.
Arin Ray: "This week's going to be very emotional, you know, it's Thanksgiving week, and it's about who you're thankful for, which is emotional anyway. I might hit you with an upbeat song this week, you never know."
Beatrice Miller: "I'm gonna fake you out a little bit. It's gonna be kinda of slow but it may or may not get fast in the end. I'm not comfortable singing slow songs every week. It's not my style. I'd rather sing like pumped up songs, but when you're giving thanks to someone really important to you, it's really difficult to find a fast song that's gonna be able to give meaning to that. So, we'll see. We'll see."
Carly Rose Sonenclar: "You can expect another big song, but it will be happy."
Diamond White: "It's going to be a very emotional week for me because there is a lot that I'm giving in the performance and a lot that I'm telling about my family, things I've never talked about before because it's kinda been hard for me to talk about. This week is pretty much ballad week. Mine's by an amazing diva."
CeCe Frey: "The person I'm thanking this week is a little unorthodox. You have to watch to find out. This is something that, it might not make a sense to some people why I'm thanking who I am, but for me it's very much real, it's very much sincere. You don't see me open up much on this show, but this is something I don't talk about. So, I'm really letting people into a very sacred part of my life this week. I hope they can see I really am trying to let people in, into my heart and into my life."
Paige Thomas: "I am more of an upbeat person as far as performance because I have a dance background, but I think it's important as an artist to also show the ballad side of you. I want to start maybe tapping into that side a little bit more, maybe that's why I was on 10th place. I'm not quite sure, but there is that side to me that I can offer so I definitely want to showcase that a little bit too. Even if I end up in the bottom again at least I can say I showed a wide range as an artist. I'm excited about this week because the song I?m singing isn't necessarily the way people perceive it. I'm taking the meaning of the song and kind of flipping it a little."
Tate Stevens: "I'm doing a country song. Shocker!" [Laughs] "It's a song about someone in my family, but not my wife this time. She was last week. We're done with her. [Laughs] No, this person meant a lot to me and helped shape who I am."
Vino Alan: "This one was kind of easy for me because the reason that we're able to do anything is because people sacrifice their lives every day to keep this a free country, so thanking the military is important to me. This is a song I've always wanted to perform. Beyonce did a version of it, that's all I can say. But it's really a song that speaks directly to the troops, directly to their sacrifice, and directly to how dope this country is."
